I have been ready to pull out my sweaters and knit dresses from my wardrobe ever since summer has started and I couldn’t be more excited to wear my absolute favourites again, however I wasn’t ready just yet to put down my sunnies and sandles, but time has come unfortunately. It’s the time of the year to pair your most loved chelsea boots with some comfy jeans and a jacket.
Soon enough I will be slurping on hot chocolate a warm coffee heading back home from school, trying to keep warm. Although my fave season is summer, I love the fashion most when it’s fall beacuse I can finally overlay jumpers and my coats and I am head over heels for ankle boots. I also can’t wait for the brands to come out with new collection, browsing their website and trying to decide which blue scarf I should order that goes better with my new sweater.
We all have our classics for each season and I won’t be getting rid of the color red soon, or my heeled Marc O’Polo boots that I got this summer on our trip to Vienna. Of course I am open to any new colors or materials that catch my eye and I am ready to experiment with my style yet again.
This is one of my favourite sweaters from United Colors of Benetton which I picked up last year in October and it has literally grown on me. Because it is made from cashmere, I love how soft and warm it is, but you have to be careful when you wash this material; it can come out of the washing machine a few sizes smaller (it happened with a white cashmere Ralph Lauren shirt of mine). From my experience, wearing bright colors can make me more energetic and happy, so rather moping around all day, I get a lot of things done and feel like my day has gone well, while looking stylish.
A nice jumper can be dressed up or down, it depends whether you wear it with a pair of ripped jeans or some black cigarette pants for a more elegant look. I wore it with my black Calvin Klein jeans and a belt from Top Shop with silver studs on it. A belt with some details on it can make an otherwise boring outfit look more interesting and fun without going overboard with any accessories or jewelry. My bag is also from Calvin Klein, a simple, black tote bag is a must-have in all wardrobes. I think a bag is something you can invest in, since we wear it every day and don’t want it to get ruined very quickly because of it’s cheap quality. Although do make sure that it will be your staple bag that you know you will wear often.
My coat is from Reserved that I bought last spring. A fitting grey coat is the one that you can’t go wrong with in any situation. Very sleek nd elegant, in addition it makes you look as if you have put a lot of thought into your outfit. Be free to pick up a coat in camel tones, dark blues and blacks, these are the shades that goes well with nearly any other color.
