We are have only just started 2017 and I am already excited about the upcoming beauty changes this year. I am sure there will be so many new products that everyone will buy until it’s out of stock. Many new full coverage foundations, long lasting eyeliners and the best lengthening mascaras will be put out there, and I am looking forward to try them all out. I have done a slight research on what we can expect for 2017, and I found out it is full of colors and unique eyeshadows blended with lots of sparkles and glitter.
Obviously you won’t see people running about with green glitter on their eyelids (however I would love it very much), but you may see a lot of these similar looks on the catwalk and luxury brands’ look books could be full of these. You could though come across some make up that is glittery and shiney, but not as colorful and eye popping as these. Everything you see on the catwalk can be seen in the streets, except, they are muted, not as loud and extravagant.
Many similar creations could be worn on the red carpet for movie premiers or at any award show. Magazine covers will refresh the look with a slight change every month with a bold lip, or using the colors in a more neutral way just to bring out the model’s eyes. Beauty gurus will flaunt their make up skills by adding their own personality into these looks to making it their own.
Since we will see a lot of new designs in magazines, on social media and on celebrities, people will be inspired by it, and hopefully start playing around with colors and textures. I already want to own a blue glittery liquid eyeliner that I could pop on Friday night when we go out with the girls to create something new and interesting.
I can only support everyone out there to experiment with make up, to find and express themselves through make up. You don’t have to worry about it being perfect, because a messy eye can be so refreshing and wild that it could turn into your signiture look. Personally, I am a big fan of messy and shiney eyeshadows eventhough I don’t wear such unique looks, but I am always glad to see people rocking something new.
